10X was an annual, collaborative project in which a community of designers reinterpreted the artwork of their favorite albums of the year and collectively revealed their work through an immersive, count-down website. All artists worked within the parameters of the years given color theme, dimensions, and branding to create an unexpected, yet cohesive experience for users to discover new music. The websites gained hundreds of thousands of views, year-over-year, and led to many of the participating artists creating actual album artwork for the bands and musicians represented on 10X. VICE called the project a reflection on “how one artform can inform another, as well as how we as consumers interpret art differently.”
