As the space economy rockets ahead, creating impactful brands and compelling experiences will be essential for companies to stand out amid rapidly expanding competition. Leveraging our deep background working with space leaders like NASA and Lockheed Martin, Geist helps new space startups launch successful brands that capture customers, contracts, and capital.
Geist recently helped launch Crescent a nimble, new subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, created to offer subscription-based lunar communication services. We designed a bold, confident brand that nods to Lockheed's legacy while positioning Crescent as fresh and forward-thinking. And we put the brand to use with a foundational website that brought Crescent out of stealth and helped them begin competing for contracts in an emergent, yet competitive marketplace on day one.
NASA Astrobiology’s universe-spanning search for the origins of life had produced plenty of incredible data. But they lacked the tools to share their findings beyond the confines of academia. Geist partnered with NASA to transform the Astrobiology website into an editorial platform. Through engaging interactive storytelling, we brought the science down to earth and helped them stoke awareness and interest among the general public. A digital component library and visual guidelines ensured a consistent, immersive experience that highlights NASA’s groundbreaking research.
Titan, founded by scientists formerly at OpenAI and Wolfram Alpha, are on a mission to accelerate experimentation in space with AI and machine learning. Geist worked with Titan to bring them out of stealth with a bold brand, ready to compete against institutional players and win contracts. We created a website to introduce Titan’s unique product offering to commercial clients, an app for clients to commission experiments, and a few mission patches along the way. We also helped Titan craft an effective pitch deck, helping to secure a lucrative funding round led by Accenture.
